Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team in Bangalore. This role is responsible for accounting and financial reporting of ATS's India-based operations (Global Advancement Centre and IWK India), ensuring compliance with local regulatory and tax requirements. The role also supports Shared Services with accounts payable and receivable functions.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional accounting designation (completed or in progress) or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or sales environment. Strong skills in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to JD Edwards, Tungsten, BlackLine, or OneStream is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Manage

month-end close

activities, including journal entries and reconciliations. Prepare and maintain

general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement

schedules. Oversee

accounts receivable

: statements, invoices, collections, and customer queries. Handle

accounts payable

: validate invoices, resolve vendor issues, reconcile ledgers. Support

local tax and regulatory reporting requirements

. Contribute to

inventory management

and

payroll activities

. Collaborate with

purchasing and sales teams

for financial alignment. Ensure compliance with

SOX regulations and internal controls

. Assist in

internal and external audits

. Provide

ad hoc financial analysis and support
