Wearing the hat of an Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive with a strong background in accounting, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing and filing GST/Income Tax returns, and ensuring compliance with ROC requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:Maintain accurate books of accounts, general ledger, and financial records. Handle day-to-day accounting entries including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. Prepare and file GST returns (monthly/quarterly/annual) and ensure timely compliance. Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax returns, TDS, advance tax, and other statutory requirements. Support ROC compliance activities including preparation and submission of necessary forms/filings. Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits by coordinating with auditors. Assist in MIS reports, financial statements, and reconciliations for management review. Assist in compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies. Use Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools effectively for financial analysis and reporting.

Key Skills & Competencies

The following are necessary to be successful in this role: Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles & Standards. Hands-on experience in GST, Income Tax, TDS, and ROC compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas) Good understanding of statutory compliance and regulatory frameworks. Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines..

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting (http://b.com/./M.Com.). Professional certification (CA Inter/CS/ICWA) will be an added advantage. Working experience with CA Firm will be an added advantage. * 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliance.
