The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations across multiple preschool and daycare centres. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, timely reporting, and coordination with internal teams, vendors, and banks. The candidate should be proactive, organized, and able to manage daily financial tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain day-to-day accounts across centres.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Manage petty cash and keep track of all monetary transactions.
Handle account reconciliations and daily financial records.
Ensure accurate entry of data in tally software or other accounting systems.
2. Financial Planning & Reporting
Prepare MIS reports including P&L, cash flow, and expense summaries.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
Track and report centre-wise fee collection and expenses.
3. Procurement & Vendor Management
Process and review vendor bills for payments.
Maintain vendor records, payment schedules, and reconciliations.
4. Banking & Reconciliation
Handle bank reconciliation and coordinate with banks for queries.
Manage fee collections and reconciliation of school fees.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in accounting (preferably in education/ preschool/ service sector).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting tools.
Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple centres.
Additional Expectations

Active involvement in improving financial processes and workflow
