We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various financial tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting. The Accounts Executive will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Receivable:
Generate customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
Resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries regarding invoices.
Handle Accounts Payable
:
Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and prepare payments.
Review expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
Maintain vendor records and manage vendor inquiries.
Maintain General Ledger:
Record financial transactions accurately and timely.
Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
Implement best practices in financial operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accounts Executive, Accountant, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Knowledge of GST.
Knowledge of PF and ESIC
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis is preferred.
