Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Accounting
Maintain day-to-day accounting records in
Tally
, including entries for purchase, sale, receipts, payments, and journals.
Ensure accurate ledger maintenance and assist in closing books.
2.
GST Compliance & Filings
Prepare and manage
GST invoices

bills
, and related documentation.
Reconcile GST ledgers, prepare
GSTR-1

GSTR-3B
, and other applicable forms.
Support periodic GST filings and ensure adherence to statutory deadlines.

Data Management & Reporting
Utilize
MS Excel

Google Sheets
for preparing financial data--such as
P&L

balance sheets
, expense reports, and ad hoc analysis.
Use formulas, pivot tables, charts, and filters to generate accurate and insightful reports.
4.
Inventory Management
Track
stock inflows and outflows
, and regularly update inventory records.
Conduct periodic
stock reconciliations
and generate inventory status reports.
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to address discrepancies and support reorder levels.

Payments & Receivables
Track
accounts payable

Process vendor payments and keep follow-ups on customer payments.
Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies.

Financial Coordination & Support
Assist the Finance Manager or senior accountant during
audit processes
by providing vouchers, reports, and inventory details.
Collaborate across departments--sales, logistics, and operations--to ensure smooth financial functioning.

General & Administrative Duties
Maintain organized, up-to-date financial records including bills, vouchers, and support documents.
File and store invoices and financial papers as per company policy.
Help optimize accounting workflows and procedures.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or equivalent.
Experience
1-3 years in accounting or finance roles, ideally with Tally experience.
Tally
Proficient in Tally ERP (entries, reporting, ledgers, inventory, etc.).
GST Knowledge: Basic
understanding of GST concepts, invoice formats, and return filing.
Excel / Sheets Proficiency
Strong in formulas, data analysis, pivot tables, and report generation.
