Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Executive based in Chennai. Core Responsibilities includes
Transaction Recording
Accurately record all daily financial transactions (purchases, sales, receipts, payments) in accounting software (e.g., Tally).
Ledger Management
Maintain and update the General Ledger, Cash Book, and Bank Books; ensure all debits and credits are balanced.
Accounts Payable (AP)
Process vendor invoices, prepare payment runs, and manage vendor reconciliations.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Prepare and issue invoices, follow up on outstanding payments from customers, and track collections.
Reconciliation
Perform regular bank reconciliation (matching company records with bank statements) and vendor/customer account reconciliations.
Compliance & Tax
Assist in calculating and filing statutory returns like GST (Goods and Services Tax) and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source).
Reporting & Audit
Assist in preparing monthly and yearly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) and providing documentation for internal/external audits.
CTC to the company - Rs. 2,40,000 P.a.
