Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

Accounts Executive

to manage day-to-day financial transactions in a retail environment. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounting, excellent knowledge of GST and TDS, and hands-on experience with retail billing and inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting activities including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Reconcile daily sales reports with POS billing and ensure accurate revenue tracking. Handle accounts payable and receivable; follow up on outstanding payments. Maintain general ledger, bank reconciliation statements, and petty cash accounts. Process vendor invoices and coordinate with the procurement and inventory teams. Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports. Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as needed. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (M.Com or CA Inter preferred). 2-4 years of experience in an accounting role within the

retail sector

. Solid understanding of retail operations, inventory flow, and POS systems. Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or other accounting software. Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable tax regulations. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
