will oversee the company's entire accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves managing daily accounts, statutory filings, cost analysis, vendor payments, and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of manufacturing and export-oriented accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Finance Operations
Supervise day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
Manage and monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.
Ensure timely invoice generation, credit control, and payment collection.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, MIS Reports).
2. Statutory Compliance
Ensure timely filing of
GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI
, and other statutory obligations.
Coordinate with external auditors for
statutory, internal, and tax audits
.
Maintain compliance with
Companies Act
,
Income Tax Act
, and
Export-Import
documentation norms.
3. Costing & Budgeting
Oversee product costing for orthopedic implants and instruments (Titanium, Stainless Steel components).
Support management in pricing strategies and profitability analysis.
Assist in preparation of annual budgets and variance analysis.
4. Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting
Coordinate with the production and stores team for
inventory valuation, consumption tracking, and job costing
.
Implement controls for
raw material usage, wastage, and cost optimization
.
5. ERP & Process Management
Maintain accounting data in
ERP/Tally or relevant MRP system
.
Develop and streamline financial workflows and internal control systems.
6. Team Leadership & Reporting
Supervise accounts staff and ensure timely task completion.
Present regular financial and MIS reports to management for decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) or equivalent.
Experience:
5 years in accounting and finance; at least 3 years in a
manufacturing setup
(preferably medical devices, pharma, or engineering).
Knowledge:
Costing in manufacturing (job costing, overhead allocation).
GST compliance & export documentation (Shipping Bills, LUT, etc.).
Tally Prime / ERP systems, MS Excel (advanced level).
Preferred:
Experience in
orthopedic implant or precision engineering
industry.
