We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive with experience in managing e-commerce accounting and reconciliation across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Shopify. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in GST settlement, payment tracking, and day-to-day book management, ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting entries and ensure books are updated daily.
Perform order, commission, return, and payment reconciliation for Amazon, Flipkart, and Shopify accounts.
Manage receipt of payments from e-commerce platforms and reconcile settlements.
Conduct GST reconciliation, filing support, and settlement as per compliance timelines.
Track and resolve discrepancies related to returns, deductions, or short payments.
Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliation reports for management review.
Support monthly book closing and ensure timely completion of financial statements.
Assist in vendor payments, expense accounting, and bank reconciliations.
Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors/CA for compliance, audit, and reporting requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for all accounting and reconciliation activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
2-4 years of experience in e-commerce accounting and reconciliation.
Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, Excel, and marketplace dashboards (Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Shopify).
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, settlement reports, and basic tax compliance.
Excellent numerical accuracy, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
