Responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records (cash, bank, sales, purchases, expenses, etc.).
Handle billing, invoicing, and payment collection.
Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
Ensure compliance with taxation laws (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.) and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely settlements.
Maintain confidentiality of financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Support management in budgeting and financial planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter preferred).
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, MS Excel, etc.).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and statutory compliance.
Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience:
1-3 years
of relevant experience in accounting (healthcare/hospital accounts experience is an added advantage)
