to manage day-to-day financial operations for our e-commerce business. The role involves invoicing, expense tracking, reporting, and coordination with fulfilment to ensure smooth financial flow and accurate data for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Invoicing:
Create accurate invoices for all e-commerce website and marketplace orders received each day.
Expense Recording:
Record all company expenses promptly under the correct category.
Proforma Invoices:
Prepare proforma invoices as required for vendors and customers.
Reporting & Dashboards:
Generate and share daily dashboards with the team, providing key business performance updates using the right data and analytics.
Inventory Reporting:
Pull out and reconcile closing stock data at the end of each month.
Credit Notes & Returns:
Coordinate with the fulfilment team to process credit notes for returns, exchanges, and order cancellations.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate financial records and assist in timely reconciliations.
Skills & Qualifications
Background in
Finance / Accounting / Commerce
(B.Com or equivalent preferred).
1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance roles (e-commerce experience is a plus).
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with accounting software Zoho is desirable.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams, especially fulfilment and operations.
Good communication and organizational skills.
