Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journals, ledgers, and financial statements.
Ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and other relevant accounting regulations.
Financial Reporting:
Preparing financial statements such as Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
Analyzing financial data to identify trends, assess financial performance, and provide insights to management.
Taxation:
Preparing and filing income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Advising on tax planning and optimization strategies.
Ensuring compliance with GST (Goods and Services Tax) and other applicable taxes.
Auditing:
Conducting internal audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Assisting with external audits conducted by Chartered Accountants.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitoring actual performance against budgets and identifying variances.
Other Important Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
Payroll Processing:
Calculating and processing employee salaries and wages, including deductions and taxes.
Financial Software:
Proficiency in using accounting software like Tally ERP 9, QuickBooks, or SAP.
Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws in India.
