to handle day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance within a building construction environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing site-level expenses, contractor payments, and construction project accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting and financial transactions (payments, receipts, journal entries, etc.)
Preparation and maintenance of books of accounts (Tally/Vyapar).
Manage accounts payable and receivable; track outstanding payments.
Prepare and process vendor and contractor bills, including verification with site teams.
Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and return filings.
Handle bank reconciliations, petty cash, and site-level expense tracking.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support audits (internal and statutory) and maintain required documentation.
Coordinate with project teams to manage budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.
Reconciliation of purchase orders with supplier invoices.
Maintain asset registers, depreciation schedules, and project-wise costing.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com/MBA preferred).
1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Good understanding of taxation (GST, TDS) and labor compliance in construction.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
Office-based with occasional site visits if required.
