Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries for clients.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow) for clients, ensuring compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Manage AP and AR processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
Bank Reconciliations:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and address any discrepancies.
Payroll Processing:
Oversee payroll processing for clients, ensuring timely payments and compliance with tax regulations.
Tax Preparation & Filing:
Assist in the preparation of client tax filings (VAT, sales tax, income tax) as per local jurisdiction requirements.
Client Liaison:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to queries and providing regular updates on their financial status.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (experience in a virtual setting is a plus).
Tech Savvy:
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books) and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy in data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to liaise effectively with clients and team members remotely.
Time Management:
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Self-Motivated & Team-Oriented:
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while being a collaborative team player.
