Role Overview
The
Accounts & Compliance Assistant
will report to the
Manager - Finance, Accounts & Compliance
and assist in maintaining financial records, supporting statutory compliance, and coordinating documentation and reporting across UF Academy & Studios and UF Academy Foundation. This is an excellent role for someone looking to grow within a professional and purpose-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in bookkeeping, expense recording, and reconciliation in accounting software Google sheets & Zoho Books).
Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts; manage documentation for audits.
Track collections, vendor payments, and petty cash transactions.
Support GST, TDS, and PF compliance and coordinate with consultants as required.
Maintain accurate digital filing and physical records for accounts and compliance documents.
Assist with renewals, licenses, and statutory registrations.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for financial and compliance updates.
Support report preparation for management and auditors.
Ensure confidentiality of company and financial information.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (experience in a startup is a plus).
Working knowledge of
Zoho Books
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Including CSR Act.
Proficient in
MS Excel
and
Google Sheets
.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and documentation skills.
Good communication skills in English and Kannada (Hindi/Tamil is a plus).

Competitive monthly salary depending on experience.
