We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Executive to manage the company's billing processes efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in preparing, issuing, and tracking invoices while maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role requires a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle billing operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, generate, and distribute invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
Verify billing data, including contract details, rates, and payment terms, to ensure accuracy.
Monitor and track accounts receivables, following up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection.
Resolve billing discrepancies by liaising with internal teams and clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and documentation.
Generate reports on billing activities, revenue, and outstanding balances for management review.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant legal regulations.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliation of accounts and data entry.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries regarding billing and payments.
Continuously assess and improve billing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of billing procedures, financial concepts, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage client and team interactions.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally).
Familiarity with taxation and invoicing regulations relevant to the industry.
Knowledge of credit control and cash flow management.
