Job Title: Accounts Associate



Location: On-site at Kochi, Kerala (Edapally Office)



Employment Type: Full-Time



Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in accounting, preferably in consulting or CA firms



Role Overview



We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Associate to manage accounting operations and support financial processes for our clients and organization. The role is ideal for professionals with a BCom/MCom background, strong accounting knowledge, and excellent client-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities



1. Compliance & Reporting



Prepare monthly client management reports for review and reporting purposes. Preparation, reporting, performance, and filing of compliance-related works. Ensure adherence to compliance calendars and regulatory deadlines. Maintain proper records, filing, and documentation of compliance work performed.

2. Client Communication & Relationship Management



Manage first-phase client communication, including queries, clarifications, and regular follow-ups. Support client visits and attend meetings, as required, to strengthen client servicing. Build and maintain positive working relationships to enhance client satisfaction.

3. Data Management & Quality Control (Core Responsibility)



Collect client data and documents in a timely and systematic manner. Enter client-related data accurately across designated platforms and software systems. Perform initial quality checks (QC) on data before submission to the reporting manager. Track, identify, and escalate any gaps, delays, or bottlenecks in client data collection.

4. Operational & Process Support



Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery. Contribute to process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency. Assist in developing structured documentation and internal reports for management.

5. Client Handling & Communication



Act as the primary contact for client accounting queries. Communicate financial information clearly and professionally to clients. Prepare reports and presentations for internal and client review.

6. Travel & Flexibility



Willingness to travel to client locations as needed. Adaptable to client requirements and dynamic work environments.

Skills & Competencies Required:



Accounting & Analytical Skills



Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and statutory compliance.

Experience with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems preferred).

Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

Communication & Client Management



Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong client-facing skills with a professional demeanor.

Adaptability & Initiative



Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Flexible and proactive in handling multiple tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications:



BCom/MCom from a recognized university.

Experience:



Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in consulting or CA firms.

Knowledge of ERP/accounting software and statutory compliance is an advantage.

Additional Requirements



Willingness to travel for client assignments.

Preference for candidates from Ernakulam/Kochi.

Long-term commitment to the Kochi (Edapally) office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?216,000.00 - ?264,000.00 per year
