We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible
Accounts Assistant
to support our accounting and finance department. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of basic accounting principles, be proficient in data entry, and be comfortable working with accounting software and spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities
Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Excel).
Maintain accurate ledgers and assist with preparation of balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and other financial reports.
Handle accounts payable and receivable entries, bank reconciliations, and petty cash management.
Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings as guided by the senior accountant.
Support in monthly and yearly closing of accounts.
Maintain proper filing of financial documents and vouchers.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for payment and billing-related queries.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Commerce / Accounting / Finance
(B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Working knowledge of
MS Excel
and
accounting software
(Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
Good communication and organizational skills.
Accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling data.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
Experience in handling GST / TDS entries or returns.
Familiarity with bank reconciliation and invoice management.
Prior internship or work experience in an accounting or finance department.

Pay: ₹9,393.46 - ₹20,000.00 per month
