with 3 to 4 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks and Zoho Books. This role supports the finance department by handling day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks and Zoho Books.
Process day-to-day transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and supplier statements monthly.
Assist with preparation of VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and process invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders.
Assist in payroll processing and maintain employee records.
Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding account queries.
Manage outstanding collections and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments.
Support the finance team in audits and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies and UK accounting standards.
Generate financial reports and assist in budget tracking.
Maintain accurate filing of accounting documents, both physical and electronic.
