We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to support the accounts department in managing daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, data entry, and financial record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining financial records and ledgers.
Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments.
Support in bank reconciliations and journal entries.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
Maintain records of vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
Support senior accountants and finance managers in audits and reporting.
Enter data accurately into accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel, ERP).
Handle petty cash and monitor daily expenses.
Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
Basic knowledge of accounting software (Tally/Excel/ERP).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
