An Account Executive is responsible for handling daily accounting activities, maintaining financial records, processing invoices, managing payments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts (cash, bank, ledger)
Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and vouchers
Handle accounts payable & receivable
Perform bank reconciliation
Assist in GST, TDS, and other tax filings
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support audits and compliance requirements
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments
Use accounting software like Tally / ERP / Excel
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Accounting principles
Experience in Tally, MS Excel
Understanding of GST & taxation
Good numerical and analytical skills
Attention to detail
Time management & communication skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
1-3 years of experience (Freshers can apply if trained)
Knowledge of Indian accounting standards is an advantage
