The Accounts Assistant is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reports, analyzing data for management information, and supporting the accounts team in day-to-day financial operations. The role involves data accuracy, timely reporting, and assisting in improving financial processes through systematic MIS reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain
daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
related to accounting and finance.
Assist in
budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
Support in
accounts payable and receivable tracking
and reconciliation.
Maintain
general ledger entries
and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
Generate
reports on cash flow, revenue, and expense analysis
for management review.
Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data and verify records.
Assist in
GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related documentation.
Prepare and analyze
monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Support in
audit preparation
and respond to audit queries.
Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in automation of MIS reports.
