We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic
Accounts Assistant
to join our back-office team in Coimbatore. The candidate will support the accounting department with day-to-day financial and administrative tasks, specifically related to logistics operations such as freight billing, vendor payments, and client invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and posting
invoices, debit/credit notes
, and other accounting documents.
Maintain
daily entries
in ERP system (sales, purchase, and journal entries).
Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for
freight and shipping cost verification
.
Track and update
accounts receivable and payable
records.
Prepare
expense reports
and assist with monthly financial closing.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Experience:
Fresher (0-1 year). Prior internship in logistics or accounting preferred.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of
Tally / Zoho Books / MS Excel
Basic understanding of
accounting principles
Soft Skills:
Good communication and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Team player with a positive attitude
Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
Salary between 15k to 16k pm.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
