Accounts Assistant
to support the financial and administrative operations of our showroom. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate accounting records, handling daily transactions, and ensuring smooth financial processes to support showroom efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for showroom transactions.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense claims.
Assist in reconciling daily sales with cash, card, and credit transactions.
Billing & Invoicing:
Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on pending payments.
Verify purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
Bank & Cash Handling:
Assist in daily cash management and bank deposit preparations.
Monitor petty cash and ensure proper documentation of expenses.
Inventory & Cost Tracking:
Work closely with the showroom team to track inventory-related financial entries.
Assist in verifying supplier bills and ensuring timely payments.
Reporting & Compliance:
Support in preparing monthly financial reports (sales, expenses, etc.).
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Administrative Support:
Assist in coordinating with internal teams (sales, logistics) for smooth operations.
Maintain filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
Experience:
1-2 years in accounting, preferably in retail or showroom operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), Tally/QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Other:
Basic knowledge of GST, invoicing, and inventory accounting.
