Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions related to chit fund schemes, including receipts, payments, and investments.

Transaction Processing:

Processing daily chit transactions, such as collections, disbursements, and adjustments.

Account Reconciliation:

Reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies in financial records.

Report Preparation:

Preparing various financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as ad-hoc reports for management.

Budget Management:

Assisting with the preparation and monitoring of budgets, including tracking expenses and revenue against the budget.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.

Customer Communication:

Responding to customer inquiries, addressing complaints, and communicating with customers regarding payments and other chit-related matters.

Collection Management:

Assisting with the collection of payments from subscribers and managing overdue accounts.

Auditing:

Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Cash Flow Management:

Monitoring and managing the branch's cash flow and petty cash.

General Ledger Management:

Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
