Enter and maintain financial data accurately in ledgers and accounting systems.
Transaction processing:
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Financial reporting:
Assist in preparing financial summaries and reports.
Account management:
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Administrative support:
Handle administrative tasks, organize financial records, and communicate with vendors or departments to resolve billing issues.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to accounting best practices and internal controls.
Required skills and qualifications
Technical skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, ledgers).
Strong data entry and numerical accuracy.
Soft skills:
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Education and experience:
bachelor's degree in a related field can be beneficial.
Prior experience in a finance or accounting role is helpful.
