The Accounts Assistant supports daily accounting and finance activities by maintaining records, processing bills, handling basic taxation work, and assisting in monthly and yearly financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Accounting

Enter

purchase, sales, and expense bills

in the accounting system Maintain

cash book and petty cash records

Post

bank entries

and assist in

bank reconciliation

Prepare

journal entries

such as stock, salary, and adjustment entries

2. Tax & Compliance Support

Assist in

TDS calculation and deduction

Maintain

TDS records and workings

Support preparation of

GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)

Reconcile

GSTR-2B with GSTR-3B

3. Import & Export Accounting

Enter

import and export invoices

Record

freight, customs duty, and clearing charges

Maintain documentation related to

imports, exports, and logistics bills

4. Billing & Verification

Check

purchase bills

for accuracy Verify

GST, TDS, and vendor details

Track

scrap purchase bills and TDS deductions

5. Records & Reporting

Maintain proper

files and vouchers

Assist in

month-end and year-end closing

Provide data to

senior accounts staff, auditors, and CA

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of

Accounting, GST, and TDS

Familiarity with

accounting software (Tally / ERP)

Good knowledge of

MS Excel

Attention to detail and accuracy

Qualification & Experience

Graduate in

Commerce or Accounting

1-3 years

experience in Accounts or Finance
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
