Job Description

We are Arco Express- Transportation Company looking for " Accounts Assistant" for its, Dwarka Nasik - Maharashtra office. Candidate should be only Male/Female Candidate should be B. Com. with at least 4-5 years in similar field. Candidate preferred of close by location is preferred. Knowledge of Tally/ MS office, Word/Power Point and excel is MUST. This position is urgent for recruitment.

Roles & Responsibility.

Accounts Management.

Maintain day-to-day accounting records (vouchers, ledgers, and journal entries).

Ensure timely posting of all transport-related expenses and income.

Billing and Invoicing

Prepare and verify client freight invoices as per contracts and trip sheets.

Reconcile transporter bills and ensure proper documentation before payment.

Cost Control & Expense Monitoring

Track vehicle-wise or route-wise operating costs (fuel, driver bata, toll, maintenance).

Identify cost variances and suggest corrective actions to management.

Banking & Payments

Handle vendor and driver payments, fuel card settlements, and cheque/cash disbursement.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of cash flow records.

Receivables & Payables

Monitor outstanding payments from customers.

Ensure timely clearance of supplier and vendor dues.

Statutory Compliance

Ensure GST, TDS, and other transport-related tax compliance.

Prepare data for statutory audits and assist in filing returns.

MIS & Reporting

Prepare monthly P&L, expense analysis, and vehicle utilization reports.

Provide management with profitability and cost trend reports.

Asset & Inventory Management

Maintain fixed asset register for vehicles and equipment.

Coordinate with stores for spare parts and fuel inventory valuation.

Coordination & Support

Liaise with transport managers, operation heads, and external auditors.

Support in budgeting, forecasting, and tender documentation when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
