Job Summary:



The Accounts Assistant / Associate is responsible for assisting the Accounts Department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting daily accounting operations. The role ensures compliance with hotel policies, internal controls, and statutory regulations while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in day-to-day accounting operations under the supervision of the Accounts Executive. Process supplier invoices, staff reimbursements, and petty cash transactions. Prepare journal entries and assist in maintaining ledgers. Support in accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring timely posting and reconciliation. Conduct bank reconciliation and follow up on outstanding payments. Coordinate with other departments (Purchase, F&B, Front Office, Engineering, HR, and Housekeeping) for billing and expense verification. Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents for audit and record purposes. Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, MIS statements, and financial summaries. Support the Accounts team during monthly and annual closing activities. Assist in GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance documentation. Generate reports from

WINHMS

and reconcile data with accounting entries. Provide necessary data and support during internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Education:

B.Com / M.Com / Diploma in Indian & Foreign Accounting or equivalent.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance; hotel industry experience preferred.

Software Skills:

Proficiency in

Tally ERP

,

WINHMS 7.06

, and

MS Excel

.

Knowledge:

Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

Competencies:

Accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical and numerical ability. Good communication and coordination skills. Integrity, confidentiality, and time management. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
