Job Description

:

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive junior accountant to support our financial team, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Candidates with experience in the travel, tourism, or airline industry will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Support to maintain day to day accounting records and entries (sales, purchases, expenses, bank transactions). Prepare and review invoices, payments, and vouchers. Handle accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements. Support month-end and year-end financial closings. Assist to prepare financial reports, ledgers, and statements as required. Assist in statutory filings. Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and reconciliation. Assist with internal and external audits. Maintain documentation and filing systems (physical and digital). Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or related field. 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliation, etc. Proficiency in accounting software (Odoo, Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or similar). Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Experience in the travel, tourism, or airline industry is an added advantage. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities. Good communication skills in English
