Job Description

Core duties and responsibilities

Financial record-keeping

: Record and update journals, ledgers, and other financial records, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.

Accounts payable and receivable

: Process invoices, bills, and payments; reconcile vendor statements; and manage accounts receivable, including chasing debt.

Reconciliation

: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of various financial accounts and transactions.

Reporting

: Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, and help with budgeting.

Administrative support

: Handle general office tasks like filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail, and managing petty cash.

Communication

: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other third parties on financial matters.
Required skills and qualifications

Experience

: Previous experience in a similar role or in bookkeeping is often required.

Education

: An associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is often preferred, though not always required.

Technical skills

: Proficiency in accounting software ( TALLY) and strong skills in spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel are essential.

Soft skills

: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are crucial.

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
