We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Accounts Assistant
to support our finance department with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
Support in reconciling bank statements and accounts.
Maintain and organize financial documents.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support payroll processing and vendor payments.
Handle petty cash and daily accounting entries.
Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, ZOHO Books, QuickBooks).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and time management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Salary:
Based on experience and qualifications.
