We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist with financial record keeping, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Process high volume of Sales Invoices
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Reconcile ledger accounts.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Support month-end closing processes.
Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings.
Respond to internal and external queries regarding financial transactions.
Reconcile daily duty accounts.
Perform administrative tasks related to finance as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in an accounting or finance role (3 years preferred).
Proficiency in accounting software e.g. Sage
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
