The Account Assistant will support the finance department in managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in preparing reports and returns. The candidate must have
a minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and data entry in accounting software (Tally/ERP).
Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
Handle
accounts payable and receivable
processes efficiently.
Perform
bank reconciliation
, vendor reconciliation, and other account reconciliations.
Prepare
GST, TDS
, and other statutory returns under supervision.
Assist in the preparation of
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
.
Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for payments and financial queries.
Support during
internal and external audits
.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com).
Minimum 3 years of experience
in an accounting or finance role.
Proficiency in
Tally ERP / accounting software
and
MS Excel
.
Working knowledge of
GST, TDS, and general accounting principles
.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
Good communication and time management skills.
Preferred:
Experience with
monthly closing and reporting
.
