To support the accounts and finance team by maintaining day-to-day accounting records and handling accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions. The role includes bookkeeping, invoice processing, bank reconciliation, vendor/customer ledger maintenance, and assisting in statutory compliances.
2. Key Responsibilities:
Record daily accounting transactions in Tally/ERP software.
Handle data entry for sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and expenses.
Process vendor invoices, verify bills, and ensure proper documentation.
Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory entries and reconciliations.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Maintain petty cash records and support cash handling at stores if required.
Prepare and update vendor and customer ledgers.
Assist in salary disbursement and statutory compliances payment.
Generate basic accounting reports and share with Accounts Manager.
Coordinate with stores for timely submission of expense bills and sales data.
Ensure filing, documentation, and digital record keeping for accounts.
Support auditors and consultants by providing required data and reports.
Knowledge Criteria
:
Education -
B.Com
Experience -
2-3 years of accounting and data entry experience, preferably in retail sector
Technical Skills -
Knowledge of Tally ERP / any accounting software, GST & TDS basics
IT Skills -
MS Word, MS Excel, Email
