We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to support our accounting department with daily financial tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle financial records accurately and confidentially.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring proper documentation.
Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Prepare and enter journal entries.
Support in preparing financial reports and budgets.
Handle petty cash and day-to-day financial transactions.
Liaise with vendors and clients regarding payments and account queries.
Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
Maintain and organize digital and paper financial records.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
0-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
