Job Description

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, project-wise accounts, cost control, taxation, and compliance related to construction activities. The role requires close coordination with site engineers, project managers, and vendors.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Financial Records & Reporting

Record daily transactions, vouchers, bills, and invoices Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts

Taxation & Compliance

Handle

GST

, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliances Ensure timely filing of returns and payment of taxes Maintain statutory registers and records

3.

Billing & Vendor Management

Prepare client bills, running account (RA) bills, and final bills Verify contractor, subcontractor, and supplier bills Manage accounts payable and receivable

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Accounting / Finance / Commerce

Experience with

accounting software

(Tally, ERP, etc.) Strong understanding of

GST, TDS,

and statutory compliances Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills Knowledge of

Book keeping
