The Accounts Assistant will support the Accounts/Finance department in day-to-day operations including data entry, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update accounting records and files.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and vouchers.
Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain petty cash records.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist in GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance.
Handle vendor and customer queries related to accounts.
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors when required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
0-3 years of experience in accounting
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, ERP, or other accounting software.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
