Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Account and Administration Officer
to support our finance and operations team at the manufacturing unit. The role requires a balance of core accounting responsibilities and administrative support duties. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, and comfortable with multitasking in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties
Manage day-to-day accounting operations: invoicing, billing, collections, bank entries, and data entry.
Prepare and issue sales invoices, delivery challans, and e-way bills.
Maintain customer and vendor ledgers, and track payment status.
Assist in reconciling bank statements, cash books, and general ledger entries.
Support preparation of GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance tasks.
Coordinate with the company's Chartered Accountant on audits and financial filings.
Prepare debtor aging and creditor reports for management.
Assist in maintaining Vyapar and Excel-based books (training provided on Vyapar if needed).
Administrative Duties
Manage document filing (physical & digital), records, and correspondence.
Assist in payroll processing and staff attendance tracking.
Coordinate with vendors, couriers, and logistics teams for material dispatch and documentation.
Support senior management with follow-ups, meeting scheduling, and admin tasks.
Maintain office supplies and ensure basic administrative processes are streamlined.
Communicate professionally with clients and vendors via phone, email, or in-person.
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in accounting or similar roles.
Basic knowledge of accounts receivable/payable, GST, and invoice handling.
Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting tools (Tally/Vyapar experience is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative work.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Ability to commute to Kalyan and work a full-time, 10-hour shift.
Preferred Traits
Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn on the job.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in small or mid-sized businesses will be an added advantage.
Basic proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred but not mandatory).
