We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
Accounts Analyst
to manage day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, and reporting. The role will also support data-driven decision-making for our cloud kitchen operations by providing timely financial insights. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn, take ownership, and grow in a fast-paced food-tech startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
Manage day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping using
Tally Prime
Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, and bank transactions
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and ledgers regularly
Support management with financial data for business planning and decision-making
Compliance & Statutory Filings
Handle
GST and TDS
compliance, returns, filings, and related documentation
Ensure timely statutory payments and maintain compliance records
Assist during audits and respond to compliance-related queries
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work closely with the finance team and cross-functional stakeholders
Use
Excel and analytical tools
to streamline reporting and analysis
Leverage
AI tools and automation
to improve accounting efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-3 years of relevant experience (startup or food-tech experience is a plus)
Technical Skills
Strong working knowledge of
Tally Prime
Sound understanding of
GST and TDS regulations
Proficiency in
MS Excel
(VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
Behavioral & Functional Skills
Strong accounting fundamentals and attention to detail
Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
Eagerness to learn new tools, including AI and automation platforms
Good communication and coordination skills
