Key Responsibilities



Payroll & Compensation



Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, covering salaries, reimbursements, and bonuses. Ensure compliance with statutory deductions such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee's State Insurance (ESI), and Professional Tax (PT). Manage end-to-end full and final settlements for departing employees.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation



Handle tax-related responsibilities, including TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) on salaries and vendor payments. File statutory returns (PF, ESI, PT) and prepare documentation for government audits. Assist in the preparation and submission of GST returns and other tax filings.

General Accounting & Financial Management



Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks such as ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, and managing accounts payable/receivable. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and audit-ready documentation. Support the preparation of periodic financial statements and management reports.

Vendor & Expense Management



Process vendor invoices, payments, and expense claims promptly and accurately. Reconcile vendor statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Monitor company expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Data & Policy Management



Ensure strict confidentiality and secure handling of financial and employee data. Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and internal controls in line with Indian tax laws and company standards.

Qualifications & Skills



Experience:

4-6 years in Accounts Administration, preferably in IT and/or manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of Indian labor and tax laws (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, GST). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and hands-on payroll processing experience. Solid grasp of bank reconciliation and financial reporting practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
