Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting within the stock broking / capital market / mutual fund industry. Strong exposure to TDS and GST compliance, filings, and reconciliations, with the ability to

monitor and review statutory compliance

. Proficiency in Zoho Books and MS Excel; knowledge of back-office systems used in broking operations is a plus. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and

monitor

day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledgers, payables, and receivables, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Review

daily and monthly bank and demat account reconciliations related to broking or capital market operations, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Handle TDS computation, deduction, and return filing, ensuring timely remittances as per statutory timelines, and

monitoring compliance

with regulatory requirements. Oversee GST-related activities, including preparation and filing of returns, reconciliations, and addressing notices, while

reviewing accuracy and completeness

. Prepare,

monitor

, and maintain MIS reports for internal and regulatory use, highlighting key trends and variances. Support

finalization of accounts

, audits, and statutory compliance, ensuring proper documentation and review. Liaise with internal departments (Operations, Compliance, Finance) to

review accounting processes

and ensure smooth and accurate operations.

Preferred

Experience supporting statutory audits in the securities/financial services domain, with a focus on
