Position: Accounting Specialist
Location: Offshore (Remote)
Working Hours: 12 PM-8 PM or 1 PM-9 PM IST
About the Role
We are seeking Accounting Specialists with strong experience in QuickBooks to support our growing accounting operations. You will begin individually, with the potential to expand the team based on performance and workload.
This role focuses primarily on customer analysis, general Accounts Payable (AP) data entry, and supporting everyday accounting functions. You will be working closely with our U.S.-based team and aligning with East Coast business hours.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely AP data entry into QuickBooks.
• Conduct customer account analysis, including reviewing balances, invoices, and payment histories.
• Assist with vendor invoice processing, coding, and matching.
• Support reconciliation activities as needed.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records.
• Collaborate with the internal team to resolve discrepancies or data issues.
• Provide general support for routine accounting tasks and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop).
• 1-3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or AP functions
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working U.S. East Coast aligned hours (12 PM - 8 PM or 1 PM - 9 PM IST).

Preferred Qualifications (Not required)

• Experience in construction or small business accounting.
• Exposure to AccuLynx or similar industry-specific tools.
• Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients or remote teams.
