About the role
Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru is looking for a Accounting Officer who takes care of all aspects of the general ledger, payroll, accounts receivable and general cashiering in accordance with local and corporate policies and procedures.
What you will do
Ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits to the various accounts and that they are properly posted on a timely basis.
Verify that any sale recorded as accounts receivable are supported with other supporting documents.
To be responsible for the preparation and mailing of account statements to customer on a timely basis
To conduct all necessary credit checks on all new credit applicants
Responsible for completing and updating records of debtors.
Monthly close the Account Receivable accounts
Prepare journal entry for accrual of invoices received after closing and for goods and services received
What you bring
Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent
High level of understanding and knowledge of basic accounting operations
Background in Luxury Hotel or Resort is an asset
Confident personality and a can-do approach to any request.
Minimum 1 year experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer
