To manage day-to-day accounting activities, GST compliance, office documentation, and employee salary records, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth office operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & GST
Maintain daily accounting entries (sales, purchase, expense vouchers).
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation).
Coordinate with CA for GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Maintain GST records, invoices, e-way bills, and supporting documents.
Track receivables and payables.
Salary & Payroll
Prepare monthly salary sheets for workers and office staff.
Maintain attendance, overtime, leave, and wage records.
Handle salary payments and maintain payroll registers.
Coordinate for PF, ESI (if applicable).
Office Files & Documentation
Maintain physical and digital office files systematically.
Handle purchase orders, sales invoices, delivery challans, and work orders.
Maintain employee records and office correspondence.
Ensure proper filing and retrieval of documents for audits and inspections.
Office Administration Support
Support day-to-day office activities and coordination.
Handle vendor bills and expense verification.
Assist management with reports and documentation as required.
Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / Diploma in Accounting or related field
1-4 years experience in office accounting and GST (manufacturing preferred)
Skills & Competencies
Good knowledge of GST and basic accounting principles
Proficiency in Tally / accounting software
MS Excel, Word, and basic computer skills
Accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
Good organizational and documentation skills
Salary Range (Indicative - India)
?8,000 - ?10,000 per month
(depending on experience and skill level)
