Job description
Quotient is seeking a strong accounting manager for its international accounting team. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Accounting and is located in Bangalore. The manager will provide direct oversight, training and mentorship to a team of five accountants and analysts.

Responsibilities:
Supervising a team of five, including providing mentoring and performance feedback
Monitoring monthly close activities across various international subsidiaries, including UK, France and Israel.
Approving JEs for month-end close and perform revaluation on local sets of books
Prepare and/or review variances in account balances and overall financial statement analysis for monthly and quarterly packages
Work with Accounts Payable team to ensure proper approvals and timely payment of invoices for international subsidiaries
Monitoring bank related activity
Coordinating with the external audit teams, both for local statutory audits as well as global US consolidated audit
Coordinating with global tax senior manager and local tax firms to ensure timely and accurate compliance in various international jurisdictions
Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements
Ad-hoc projects as assigned

Required Job Skills:
At least 6 to 8 years of experience in public and/or private industry required
Bachelors degree in Accounting required
CA/CA-Inter is a plus
Strong analytical and technical accounting skills, including a strong understanding of Indian GAAP, INDAS, USGAAP
Experience with general ledger function and the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and analyses.
Extensive experience working with Audit teams and providing support is required
Advanced Excel skill is required
Experience using NetSuite is strongly preferred, but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail oriented with a strong commitment to preparing accurate work
Ability to work in the Bangalore office is required (this is not a remote position, but a hybrid schedule between home and office is permitted)
