Job Description

Fixed Asset Accounting

• Review capitalization, asset packages, month-end reports, journal entries, and

reconciliations.

• Conduct monthly fixed asset reviews with the US accounting team and update FA

policies.
Payroll

• Supervise monthly payroll activities and coordinate with HR, payroll vendors, and

business units.

• Review payroll reports, journal entries, reconciliations, and manage stock-based

compensation accounting.
General Accounting (IGAAP)

• Oversee month-end close activities and review financial statements for significant

movements.

• Support statutory, internal, and compliance audits.

Compliance

• Ensure Companies Act compliance, manage MCA filings, XBRL reporting, and other

statutory filings.

• Coordinate board/AGM documentation and liaise with consultants.

Taxation

• Direct Tax: Manage corporate tax computations, provisions, filings, and coordinate

with consultants for transfer pricing and tax returns.

• Indirect Tax: Provide oversight and support for GST compliance.

General

• Drive process improvements using AI tools.

• Provide guidance to the team and collaborate with US/local stakeholders on

accounting projects.
Requirements
Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.

• 8+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, and compliance.

• Strong knowledge of IGAAP, Companies Act, and tax regulations.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office; experience with AI-driven tools is

a plus.
