Job Summary:



We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager (Shared Services) to lead and manage critical accounting and finance operations including Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Banking across our 13+ global entities spanning the US, UK, Europe, and India. This role is crucial to ensuring financial compliance, process standardization, and service excellence across global finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Accounts Payable (AP):



a. Manage end-to-end AP cycle for global operations, ensuring timely invoice processing, vendor payments, and compliance with procurement policies

b. Monitor AP aging, resolve discrepancies, and manage global vendor relationships

c. Prepare, present reports on AP metrics to senior management and analyze AP data to identify trends and areas for improvement

d. Work with General Accounting Manager to ensure that expenses are coded to the correct account code.

2. Payroll Management:



a. Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution across geographies in collaboration with HR and third-party payroll providers

b. Comply with local statutory payroll regulations including local benefits

c. Validate time sheets and reconcile paid and billable time and ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll processing in a timely manner.

d. Provide global oversight on appropriate spending practices on salaries and related expenses

e. Ensure proper inputs are created for journal entries in the manner that suits the requirements of different entities.

f. Ensure proper accruals and charge for holidays and vacation time

3. Bank Transactions:



a. Proper application of cash and coding of all banking transactions

b. Daily reconciliation of banks and book balances

c. Ensuring that all reconciling items are cleared on a timely basis

4. Global Shared Services Oversight:



a. Ensure standardized finance processes across 13 or more global entities

b. Coordinate with regional partners to support audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting

5. Cross-train on AR and invoicing process



6. Process Excellence & Controls:



a. Ensure accurate documentation of processes and Standard operating procedures

b. Drive continuous process improvement and optimize productivity

c. Initiate cross training across all functions

d. Strengthen internal controls and ensure audit readiness across AP, payroll, and treasury functions

Key Requirements:



1. 10+ years of relevant experience in a shared services or global finance operations environment, within the IT Services or BPO industry

2. Reports To: Director - Finance

3. Minimum of 4 years experience as a Manager

4. Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA not mandatory)

5. Proven track record in process mapping, process improvement and six sigma certification preferred.

6. Experience in handling multiple processes end-to-end as stated under key responsibilities

7. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with onshore and offshore teams

8. Strong analytical, process-oriented, and communication skills

9. Excellent English verbal and written skills and ability to communicate effectively with North American and European stakeholders

10. Familiarity with MS Excel. Advanced skills with Excel shortcuts preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹2,400,000.00 - ₹2,800,000.00 per year
