HIH Accounting Operations Accounts Payable - Lead Analyst
Position Summary:
Evernorth is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our emerging Accounting team at our Global Capability Center (GCC) location in Hyderabad. The individual will ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with accounts payable processes, accounting policies and regulatory requirements. This role will be the primary lead for Concur T&E processes and the balance sheet accounting lead for accounts payable and T&E.
The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Concur Configuration Compliance Lead: Proactively identify and implement process enhancements, ensuring current configurations lead to a high level of policy compliance. Coordinate with business partners throughout Cigna and Concur to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.
• Concur financial reporting projects: Lead enhancements to better drive T&E reporting from Concur and other systems.
• Concur Audit functions: Review and ensure audit processes meet needs of the corporation and are being completed as required. Help drive changes to enhance processes to minimize company risk.
• Balance Sheet Accounting Lead: Develop expert understanding of inbound and outbound feeds impacting accounts payable activities and working account balances. Own balance sheet reconciliation review and initial sign-off.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required (MBA/CA/ICWA/CFA/CPA preferred).
• 5-8 years of financial accounting experience.
• Proven experience within accounting or finance functions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle EPM).
