Accounting Faculty

to bridge the gap between academic education and professional industry requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of

Manual Accounting principles

and be proficient in industry-standard software like

SAP (FICO)

and

Tally Prime

.

Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for a "Mentor" with a passion for teaching, capable of transforming students into job-ready accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Delivery & Training

Foundation Training:

Teach the core concepts of Manual Accounting, including Journal entries, Ledger posting, Trail Balance, and Finalization of Accounts.

Software Training:

Conduct hands-on training sessions in

Tally Prime

and

SAP (FICO)

.

Taxation & Compliance:

Educate students on practical GST filing, TDS, Income Tax, and E-way bill generation.

Industry Standards:

Explain real-world accounting workflows, audit preparation, and corporate financial reporting.

2. Mentorship & Student Development

Skill Assessment:

Evaluate student progress through regular mock tests and practical assignments.

Project Supervision:

Guide students in completing Live Projects that simulate real-company accounts.

Career Guidance:

Assist the placement cell by conducting mock interviews and teaching professional ethics for accountants.

3. Content Development

Update course modules to reflect current changes in tax laws. Develop simplified training materials (Case studies, PPTs, and Handouts) for better student comprehension.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Expertise

Academic Background:

B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or Semi-qualified CA/CMA.

Manual Accounting:

Strong "Old School" accounting knowledge--ability to solve complex entries without software assistance.

ERP Proficiency:

Good knowledge of

Tally Prime

and

SAP FICO

. Knowledge of Zoho Books or QuickBooks is a plus.

Excel Mastery:

Advanced knowledge of VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Financial Modeling in MS Excel.

Teaching & Soft Skills

Teaching Mentality:

Ability to break down complex financial concepts into simple, relatable language for beginners.

Communication:

Fluency in

Malayalam

(for local branch instruction) and proficiency in

English

(for corporate terminology).

Presentation Skills:

Comfortable using digital tools (Projectors, Smart Boards, LMS) to deliver engaging lectures.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 years

of experience in either a professional accounting role OR as a trainer in a reputable EdTech/Finishing School. Candidates with practical experience in "Audit Firms" are highly preferred.
